Listening is something that all musicians should aim to be good at, so listen to the Concert Variations a few times, pointing out to yourself 'the main attractions' like a tour guide, and, even if you don't immediately use them yourself, listen out out for these features in other music.

I hope you'll feel able to sit down and let some variations and innovations creep into your Greensleeves arrangement. That's why 'creative' is in the title of the course!
