This set of four exercises is slightly different, in that you use different notes to come down within the bar from those going up (and vice versa).
Exercises STH1 to 6 came down the same notes, within the bar, but Exercises STH7 to 10 mirror the rising pattern coming down. The fingers therefore have to change their relative spacing more quickly.
The exercises on this page again use five adjacent notes to transition between positions, and so rise or fall by thirds.
The positions for STH7 are:
That is, ascending from C, E, G and B, then descending from A, F, D and B.
You play the pattern up, down and up before transitioning (ascending).

A convenient 'shorthand' would be:
Use all five fingers - don't leave any out or you won't have enough!
Play up the first four-note chord, down the second, up the third, then adjacent notes to transition. Reverse direction coming down (second half).
Notice how the two seconds (pairs of adjacent notes) are bunched at the top, going up the pattern, and at the bottom, coming down. (The opposite, descending overall.)
Learn to read the shorthand and free your attention from the written music for more creative purposes. The other three exercises in this sub-section are presented only in MS shorthand form.
