Build-up - Stages One to Three
Musicarta's 'Left-hand-over Style' is a methodical way to build you own piano solos or craft solo piano arrangements of popular tunes.
Here's 'Can't Help Falling In Love With You' played in the Musicarta left-hand-over style.
Start to build your performance. You might be surprised, but we're not starting with the tune!
Find the triads in the right hand and play along. Use the fingers shown, as soon as you can!
The next triad is shown in the falling columns in the video; try to be ready in time.

Notice that the RH triads are written in the bass clef.
Now add the bass notes (orange) in the left hand and shift the RH triad to halfway through the bar.

You need to be quite secure with this before going on.
Now break up the RH triads "bottom-middle-top-middle-bottom" (B-M-T-M-B) and play along starting just 'after the beat' (the bass note, at the start of the bar).

Now go on to the second webpage in this series.
