Learning the Minor Scales
Harmonic minor - Flat keys
Here are the harmonic minor scales in the flat keys F through to G flat (parallel majors).
As with the melodic minors, minor keys built on A flat, D flat and G flat are spelled as 'enharmonic' G sharp, C sharp and F sharp minors. (This minimizes the numbers of accidentals used.)
As before, each scale is built from the parallel (same tonic) major.
Going through the process meticulously in every key will build a much more solid understanding, and ultimately a more creative foundation for your developing musical capabilities.
