Rhythmic Scales
Page One - in triplets
"Bake two desserts in one oven!" Put some rhythm in your scale practice and "light two candles with one match"!
This is the first of three pages demonstrating some rhythms to apply to your scale practice. This page showcases rhythms in triplets.
This stressed pattern finishes on the beat after four octaves'-worth of notes, so you can use them for any of the four-octave (length) patterns on the Stressed SPPs (sale practice patterns) page.

All six patterns are demonstrated in C.
The first video shows all six patterns with the MS (static) at performance speed.
Download the MS for all the scales here.
The second video shows all six patterns at a slower, practice speed and with the together-left-right (TLR) pattern 'beat maps' to practice-tap on your desktop, if you need this intermediate stage.
The beat maps show two bars of rhythm. You play through the first bar three times before going on to the end (second bar).
Now, here are the six patterns - audio at practice speed plus beat maps.Tap the 'together/left/right (TLR) patterns on your desktop if you need the intermediate step.
These are the 'theoretical' rhythmic patterns you will apply to whatever scale you might be learning or practicing at the moment.
The audio file is set to repeat for you to test/play along to. You have to stop playback manually.
Download the beatmaps MS here.
