Approaching the I-IV-V tonics by two-semitone runs; three pairs: Cm-Dm, Fm-Gm and Am-Bm.
The exercises are not fingered. Work out a feasible fingerings for Dm and Am and master those first. (NB: In good classical playing, you always change finger on a repeated note!)
The bass line approaches the I-IV-V tonics by semitone below and above, swapping half-way, in the two possible combinations.
Don't be alarmed by the triplet-crotchet bass. Because the right hand is also in triplet (quavers), the bass notes always come with a right hand note. (Easy way to get used to tuplet feel!)
