This is your Patreon Tier One 'Pyramids Variations' home page, and your launch pad into an absorbing creative journey.
Getting started is as easy clicking through to Lesson One in the right hand navigation column. You'll find this identical navigation on every Patreon 'Pyramids Variations' page.
Your best strategy is to work through the 'Lessons' series in order, getting as far as you can. You don't have to work up every lesson target performance to exam standard, but a certain fluency (and understanding) should be your minimum goal.
Any time from Lesson Six or so on, you could venture into the Variations section and browse for something you find interesting and attractive to work on in parallel with, or instead of, the Lessons. The Variations do not rely on as orderly a work-through as the Lessons.
Another way to browse content is via the Sample pages tab in the right hand column. The private YouTube Build-up (two of) and Variations play-lists (bottom right) are also a browsing option.
Note: The two 'Supplementary Material' pages sandwiched between the Lessons and Variations are primarily for teachers using The Pyramids Variations as a teaching supplement. Feel free to skip these pages if you don't immediately find them useful.
And one Final Note!
The Pyramids Variations - and all Musicarta teaching material - is meant, above all else, to be a pleasant learning experience! Don't fall for that old mistake of making learning to play the piano "a rod for your own back".
"Willing the end is willing the means." To enjoy playing, you must enjoy practicing.
As your own teacher, treat yourself indulgently. No tut-tutting at unsuccessful attempts, no scolding, no impatience. "Rome wasn't built in a day", and neither is keyboard skill and fluency.
So, take the long view, and...
Enjoy the journey!
